Firstly the service from Gearbest was excellent. Ordering the device was simple and easy. Payment options were clear and easy to select. When it comes to shipping I would recommend the DHL expedited shipping option if you can afford it, if not the priority line is a decent second choice. With the priority line option I did however, have a slight delay in delivery from the courier in my country, but that could just be an issue restricted to my country only.With regard to the device, The X96 MAX ,after one week of use I have have very high praise for it. It does everything that it was advertised to do and at least a 100 things more. Build quality is excellent and the software runs cleanly and smoothly. The device does not get too hot from long term use.Netflix and YouTube are limited to Standard definition but this can be easily remedied with an OTA firmware upgrade from the manufacturer (something that the manufacturer should look into in the near future).For more technical information and reviews check out YouTube for the many hands on and in depth reviews of this device.Also when purchasing the X96 MAX you should also consider buying a voice function air mouse and keyboard combo as the standard remote is pretty basic.In closing, the X96 MAX is marketed as a budget option box but in my opinion it is much more than that infact it possess the qualities of a mid level android tv box. I would definitely recommend the X96 MAX to anyone interested in a good affordable android tv box.

Отличный ТВ бокс. Я его купил в магазине GearBest по ссылке: https://ru.gearbest.com/tv-box/pp_009773246649.html.К плюсам отнесу новый процессор Amlogic S905X2, установленный Android 8,1, наличие 4 ГБ DDR4 + 64 ГБ ПЗУ, а также 2,4G + 5,8G WiFi, 1000 Мбит, USB3.0 и BT4,0. Рекомендую купить именно эту конфигурацию, с запасом памяти на будущее. Приставка с такой конфигурацией не лагает, работает отлично. Установил очень много контента - только не хватает времени его смотреть. Поддерживает IPTV. Из коробки реализована поддержка голосового поиска (но для полноценного использования этой функции сразу же рекомендую купить пульт с гироскопом и голосовым поиском, так как комплектный пульт обычный, без поддержки голосового поиска и без аэромыши). Цена приятная. Так, что рекомендую к покупке!!!!Но в этой бочке мёда всё же есть ложка дёгтя. К минусам отнесу - отсутствие автофреймрейта (из-за этого картинка с фильмом может подёргиваться, но это решается путём выставление вручную частоты кадров 25 или 24, но в этом то и проблема, что каждый раз вручную это надо делать, что напрягает). К минусам также отнесу не очень хороший лаунчер, но к нему можно привыкнуть. Можно переустановить прошивку или накатить другой лаунчер, но я не стал с этим заморачиваться.

I have purchased and set up 3 of these for Christmas giftsI started by deleting KD Player and putting official Kodi from Google Play... 17.6 ( so that auto - updates work for those who will want it )added a build to it and works great.. seamless fast loading and shutting down of Kodi compared to some older boxes i have used..I also put filelinked on it and added close to a dozen other apps to each with no issues.... ( addons install and load faster and smoother then older boxes i have used )If you are looking for a good box in a good price range... this should be all you need...The remote i have noticed connects as Bluetooth so i have the box on the wall behind my TV with no connectivity issues..I have purchased the 4 / 32 models which is more then most people will ever need on this type on box..Just for information purposes i have used many boxes over the years from android 4.2 up to 8 plus s802 amlogic up to this one s905x2 and so far i have only given this box a decent rating overall...

They promised a processor of 2 GHz, but really 1.8There is no interference filter in the power supply unit, plugged a desk lamp into the neighboring outlet, received a failure in video playback. The image began to double!Sometimes there are problems, for example, some buttons on the remote control stop working, only a reboot helps. Technical support did not respond to the appeal.Обещали процессор на 2 Гигагерца, а реально 1.8В блоке питания нет фильтра помех, подключал в соседнюю розетку настольную лампу, получил сбой в воспроизведении видео. Изображение начало двоиться!Иногда появляются проблемки, например перестают работать некоторые кнопки на пульте, помогает только перезагрузка. Техподдержка не отреагировала на обращение.

Loved that it has Android 8.1, the picture is great, the speed of the unit is fine, my disappointment is that it is not as software friendly as I would have hoped. Can not find a YOUTUBE. TV or Pluto.TV piece of software to work on the X96 Max.The features of the X96 Max are all there, it is full of what you want and need to be a winner, but lacks in being a complete package since it will not run Youtube TV or Pluto TV.Youtube TV will load, but will not login correctly, Pluto loads and runs, but the user interface is not working on the software, it loads and then sticks on the main channel. You can't change stations which is frustrating..Find the different versions and hoping of finding one that will work correctly with the S905X chipset is a challenge. Approching it as a game at this point and hope to get it figured out. I will share what I am able to find out.

Sprzęt kupiony do obsługi DTS HD i Dolby TrueHD których nie ogarniał mój telewizor. Na zdjęciach sprzęt wydaje się większy niż jest w rzeczywistości. Na żywo prezentuje się lepiej niż wygląda na zdjęciach. Pierwsze uruchomienie przebiegło bez problemu. Domyślny launcher niestety nie powala wyglądem, ale z plusów jest zainstalowane KODI i to już skonfigurowane z dodatkami - wesołe strony z filmikami też są :)). Oryginalny pilot taki sobie - daje radę, ale rewelacyjny nie jest. Zalecane jest kupienie klawiatury bezprzewodowej - bardzo ułatwia życie.Po kilku tygodniach użytkowania podsumowując mogę napisać, że sprzęt wart swojej ceny - polecam do zakupu!

Awesome TV Box with amazing Amlogic S905X2 processor and OS Android 8.1. With 4Gb RAM work very fast , great graphic Arm Malli G31, qmazing quality of picture,amazing sound, Android TV interface work very smooth and fluid, the new Kodi 18.0 Leia work fabulous, very fast ,smooth and fluid with a lot of everything about multimedia show, a lot of apks with Google play store especially Android games which on this device works great.One of the best Android TV box which I had.I trully recomended it.

Nice TV box with new Amlogic s905x2 processor, everything works very fast, smooth and fluid, a lot of apks from regulary Google play store works great. Nice Android TV UI interface, very fluid without any lags. Kodi works awesome with tons of movies, tv shows, tv chanells and others about multimedia.Audio and video quality is apsolutelly amazing. Really nice and strong build with usefull LCD panell on front. USB 3.0 is really 10x faster than 2.0.It's really worth it. RECOMENDED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
